Angel: by Michelangelo and painted by R. Brian Wilson

Pieta: by Michelangelo and painted by R. Brian Wilson. All marble in the room was done by Lora Wareb. These renaissance pictures are all done in a dining room located in Tampa Palms, FL.

Creation of Adam: by Michelangelo recreated beautifully by Amberly Gorman w/ assistance from R. Brian Wilson. The frame was done to match the marble in the livingroom fireplace and was veined with real gold leaf.

This garden scene was a culmination of efforts. Entirely designed and drawn by Brian, the plantlife, stonework, and David were done by Amberly, the columns done by Jacob, and the sky and marble at the bottom were also done by Brian.

The children of the house now immortal cherubs on the ceiling. Cherubs painted by R. Brian Wilson. Columns painted by Jacob Ayala. Other pieces of work (unpictured) in this room include Michelangelo's David and Victory. Victory is an unfinished piece in reality, but rendered as a finished piece specifically for this room.

Linear perspective and clever uses of shading were used to achieve the illusion that the ceiling is higher than it truly is. The upper part of the column, is flat on the ceiling... see the picture below.

This column was painted to match the marble on the rail. This house is located in St. Petersburg, FL..
|
The discuss thrower is from classical sculpture and the two pots are based similar to ones found in the house. Also, the windows are real, the doors are real, the columns and all the sculptures are a flat wall.

A 3 ft replica David also resides in this house. He too, is flat.

Columns painted to match the wood doors and carpet. Though you cannot see it in the photo, the doors behind the column have been faux painted to match the wood in the room.

These doors are metal. They have been painted to look like wood.

The advantages of this are many. The metal doors last longer, and are extremely light weight in comparison to real wood.. Polyeurothane protects the doors for years of use.

Each square is 4 ft squared. app. size of the room in 24' x 50' w/ 16 ft' ceilings. All the windows are covered in "wood".
